![]() ![]() They have been so slow since PJ64 is not open source like Dolphin is. All I can hope for is that 2.3 will give us some MUCH needed upgrades to PJ64. Thanks for the video, I nailed it, mor or less but I appreciate the proof as to you getting it to work. I will certainly do some more fiddling tonight when my son goes to sleep. I cant help but think it has something to do with the overlay and how it interrupts the render pipeline. For some reason all the graphics were messed up and even some geometry in mario 64 were just missing. Originally posted by cammelspit:Well, I got it "working" but I say that very loosely. Thanks again hulkenstrong for the workaround, I will certainly keep trying! :) Its the N64 and PS that are the hardest because they are old enough to have issues in the way they render with the overlay and yet are new enough to just not work at all properly without proper analog control. Now if only we could get ePSXe to work well I would be all set!Īll the newer emulators just work like Dolphin and PCSX2, the older ones, even it you have to use desktop bindings, whatever. You have, if anything, renewed my desire to get this running smoothly. ![]() ![]() Well, I got it "working" but I say that very loosely. I will test again, I have tried this but it wasn't working for me. Since you can't start any game unless the SC is off that means you got to have a keyboard/mouse handy to start a game. It works just as good as my xbox360 controller but again you can't turn on the SC until you have started a game otherwise project64 will give an error. I have it added as a non steam game and can use the overlay in bpm to config the SC and also use N-rage to config it for xinput. It works perfectly fine in game pad mode on windows 10. I am not using the SC in keyboard/mouse desktop mode, it is configured in BPM to game pad mode. I just checked and the plugin versions are even the same as to what you posted. Are you using KB/M for controls and setting it in the desktop config? Because it certainly is broken for me. The overlay does not work at all so the controller does not go into game pad mode. Originally posted by hulkenstrong:Project64 2.2.0.3īut I have tried different video plugins and everything works fine. I have not bothered to set up an emulator for the Wii on Dolphin for those that are not available.īut I have tried different video plugins and everything works fine. This is more or less a great solution for those games that are available through nintendos virtual console but there are limitations. I have been just running many N64 games through Dolphin VC. The problem I find it that using older, lesser video plugins ruins the experience because too many games are bugged. What version are you using, out of curiosity? I have been using one of the later ones. So weird that the SC hooks into the exe in some weird way preventing it from working. Only problem is you cant turn on your SC until you have started a game but you can configure xinput to your liking before and during a game.
